Horsey Memories  

This is the section of the website for memories to be recorded for posterity. We would love to hear from anybody with memories of Horsey Village life to contact us with a view to putting on this site.

It will mainly comprise of memories of inhabitants and Estate workers of their time in the village, and residents/rescuers memories of the Horsey Floods.

We are currently working through papers relating to the Floods of 1938, and will be putting that up shortly.

A Genealogical CD, in PDF format so can be read by any computer, containing almost 200 high quality photographs, all from private sources, depicting the life and times of this idyllic Norfolk Broadland village.

Never-before-seen photographs of the Horsey Flood of 1938, together with people and events in village life, covering the past 120 years.
